South Africa's Dewald Brevis or Baby AB as he is being called because of his striking resemblance with former Proteas player AB de Villiers, had a brilliant outing with the bat and the ball as he took his side to a thumping 121 run win vs Uganda on Tuesday in the Group B match of the Under 19 World Cup.

South Africa who won the toss came in to bat first. The young team set a 231 run target with Brevis contributing the maximum. Brevis who smashed 104 off 110 hit eleven 4s and one 6. In reply, Uganda quickly fell to Proteas' fierce bowling attack. Brevis starred with the ball as well, as he took two wickets. Uganda ended up collecting only 110 runs in 34 overs.

Meanwhile, in Group A, the Under-19 England team too registered a 106 run victory against Canada courtesy captain Tom Prest's patient 93 from as many balls.

The young English side who came in to bat first also saw George Thomas and George Bell scoring half-centuries. Both of them along with the skipper helped the side post a commendable 320 run target.

In reply, the Canadians were bowled out for 214 with Gurnek Singh (44) scoring the most runs for his side.
