T20 World Cup 2021: Virat Kohli’s various moods during the IND v PAK clash

ICC T20 World Cup 2021: The Indian cricket fans had a tough night on Sunday as they were forced to swallow the bitter pill of losing to Pakistan for the first time in a World Cup. Virat Kohli too had a tough night as the leader of the pack and his various moods through the game are quite relatable.

The No-Problem face

Losing the toss in the UAE usually spells doom and after Babar Azam walked away asking Team India to bat first, Virat was not very pleased. Kohli accepted fate but little did he anticipate the carnage that followed.

The gritty half-century face

The usual, in your face celebrations, were missing which has become a hallmark of Virat Kohli. He was the lone defender amidst the ruins, there was a wry smile which probably said that the captain gave his 110% but the target isn’t enough.

The Shocked face

Team India expected the Pakistani openers to come out all guns blazing but little did the men in blue anticipate that the opening stand would carry the team to the finish line. Babar Azam and Mohd Rizwan smoked the Indian bowlers as Virat Kohli’s shocked face was similar to every Indian cricket fan.

The smiles after

Despite the loss, the biggest we saw Virat smile was when he greeted his opposition number. Virat probably was happy for Babar and Rizwan and the effort the pair had put up to guide Pakistan home to a grand win.

The shocking question!

After the loss, some journalists made matters worse for Virat Kohli. A few unnecessary questions about Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan left Virat amused and fuming at the same time.
