T20 World Cup 2021: 'I will take the knee', Quinton de Kock apologises to team & fans

In a u-turn just days after he decided to not take the knee at the World T20, South African cricketer Quinton de Kock has apologised to the fans and to his teammates. de Kock opted out of South Africa's previous game due to personal reasons had decided to not take the knee after the cricket board made it compulsory for all team members to commit to the stand.

As a result, there was a massive uproar and fans & former cricketers condemned Quinton de Kock's behaviour. In a statement, QDK said that he had discussions with the board and is now ready to take the knee as a sign of solidarity and to educate others.

The statement also read that the Southpaw has a better understanding of Cricket South Africa's intentions now and will do anything to play cricket for the country again.
