WI vs SL Highlights, T20 World Cup 2021: Sri Lanka ended defending champions West Indies' slim & mathematical chances of advancing to the semi-finals of the World T20 with a commanding 20-run win in their game.

Charith Asalanka and Pathum Nissanka cracked half-centuries as Sri Lanka put up their highest total of the tournament at 189-3 in their final Group 1 game.

In reply, West Indies, who won the toss and elected to field, lost their openers and big hitters cheaply before getting restricted at 169-8.

Shimron Hetmyer was the lone warrior and narrowed the defeat with a fighting unbeaten 81 off 54 balls.

Sri Lanka ended their campaign with four points after defeating Bangladesh and West Indies while losing to England, South Africa and Australia.
