T20 World Cup 2021, full highlights: Pakistan beat Afghanistan by 5 wickets

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam once again led from the front as the team registered its 3rd consecutive win in the T20 World Cup after beating Afghanistan by 5 wickets on Friday in Dubai.

Sent into bowl first, Pakistan restricted the opposition to mere 147 runs. While Afghanistan's batting line-up fell apart quickly, it was because of late efforts of Mohammad Nabi and Gulbadin Naib that Afghanistan managed a fighting total. Nabi and Naib scored an unbeaten 35 off 32 and 35 off 25 respectively.

With a 51 off 47, Babar Azam rose to the occasion and along with Fakhar Zaman, he put up a 63-run crucial partnership. Azam also broke Virat Kohli's T20 record. He is now the fastest skipper to attain 1000 T20I runs in just 26 matches.
