T20 World Cup, AFG Vs SCO Highlights: Mujeeb Ur Rahman collects 5 wickets as Afghanistan thrash Scotland

Afghanistan vs Scotland Highlights: It was Afghanistan's day at the T20 World Cup as they thrashed opponent Scotland by a massive margin of 130 runs on Monday at the Sharjah stadium. Winning the toss, Afghanistan dominated the first inning with Najibullah Zadran scoring the highest for his side.

While Zadran chalked up 59 off 34, opener Hazratallah Zazai scored 44 off 30 and Rahmanullah Gurbaz put up 46 in 37 balls, together setting a 190-run target for Scotland.

In reply, the Scottish batters failed as the team collapsed within 11 overs, scoring just 60 runs. Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan got the maximum wickets. While Rahman got 5 wickets and gave away 20 runs, Khan who took 4 wickets gave away just 9 runs.

The massive win also helps Afghanistan rake up an amazing +6.5 net run rate which surely will come handy in the later stages of the tournament.
