Shane Watson picks THIS batter as best Test batter

Despite Babar Azam's rapid rise in world cricket, Virat Kohli is still reckoned as the best batter in Test cricket by some experts.

While talking to ICC Review, former Australian cricketer Shane Watson said that when it comes to Test cricket, he will always say Virat Kohli is the best.

Watson added that he likes Kohli's intensity and the way he persists with it every time he goes out there to play for India.

The praise for Kohli comes at a time when he’s not even among the Top 10 ranked batters in Tests.

Meanwhile, Pakistani captain Babar is the top-ranked player in ODIs and T20Is while in Tests, he’s number 3 in the world.

In Tests, Kohli has accumulated 8074 runs in 102 Tests at an average of 49.53. Babar, on the other hand, has scored 3122 runs in 42 Tests at an average of 47.30.
