The Khan family is currently basking in a double dose of cricketing success. On Monday, Sarfaraz Khan received the long-awaited news of his maiden inclusion in the Indian national team, a milestone achieved after years of persistent effort and impressive performances in the domestic arena.

On Tuesday, the family had another reason to celebrate. Sarfaraz's younger sibling, Musheer Khan, made headlines in the Under-19 World Cup by becoming the tournament's leading run-scorer. Musheer's outstanding performance in the Super Six stage against New Zealand, where he scored an exceptional 131 off 126 balls, was his second century in the tournament. This remarkable innings not only showcased his talent but also significantly contributed to the Indian team reaching a commendable total of 295 in their innings.

Musheer's achievement in the Under-19 World Cup is further highlighted by his consistent form throughout the tournament, as this century marks his third 50+ score in the competition. Previously, he had scored a substantial 118 off 106 balls against Ireland, coinciding with the day his brother Sarfaraz hit a commanding 161 against the England Lions for India A.

The consecutive successes of Sarfaraz and Musheer Khan in their respective cricketing spheres symbolize the depth of talent and hard work within the family. While Sarfaraz's selection to the national team culminates years of toil at the domestic level, Musheer's exploits in the Under-19 World Cup suggest a bright future and potential for following in his brother's footsteps.
