Rohit Sharma 'looks bulky but...', Team India's strength and conditioning coach on skipper's fitness

Questions have often been raised about Team India skipper Rohit Sharma's fitness, with several pointing out the difference between his and Virat Kohli's appearance.

But the Men in Blue's strength and conditioning coach Ankit Kaliyar has put an end to all speculations.

In a chat with The Times of India, Kaliyar likened Rohit's fitness to Kohli when asked about the Yo-Yo test parameters.

'Rohit Sharma is a fit player. He has good fitness. He looks a bit bulky but he always passes the Yo-Yo test. He is as fit as Virat Kohli. He looks like he is bulky but we have seen him on the field. His agility and mobility is amazing. He is among the fittest cricketers,' Kaliyar explained.

In the same interview, the coach termed Virat Kohli as the 'fittest cricketer in the world' and credited him for instilling confidence and the urge to remain fit within the team.
