PCB has decided to allow its players to participate in the Cricket South Africa's SA20 league, where the majority of the teams have Indian owners, after initially being against it citing international and domestic commitments.

Pakistan Cricket Board allows players to participate in Cricket South Africa's SA20 league

The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to allow its contracted players to participate in the upcoming Cricket South Africa's SA20 league. This comes after Pakistan and West Indies boards decided to postpone the January 2023 T20 series to early 2024.

The Pakistan board initially was against its players participating in the league citing domestic and international commitments. Further, PCB gave the nod after the South African cricket board announced that the teams can now sign an extra wildcard player after the player's auction was completed last week. No Pakistani player was able to take part in the auction.

Cricket South Africa's SA20 league is in its inaugural season which is scheduled to be held from 10th January 2023 to February 2023. 6 teams are set to participate in the league.
