Mumbai Indians' prolific batter Suryakumar Yadav impressed cricket pundits and fans alike as he smashed his maiden IPL hundred against GT.

SKY's 49-ball unbeaten 103 helped MI beat Gujarat Titans by 27 runs. Even Sachin Tendulkar who was had scored a 100 for Mumbai in 2011 took to his Twitter to praise his brilliant shot-making abilities.

Tendulkar on Twitter said, SKY lit up the evening sky today, 'he played excellent shots through the innings but the one that stood out for me was the 6 over third man off...'

The former MI player specifically reserved his praise for Yadav's 6 off Moh Shami in the 19th over.

Even Hardik Pandya the skipper of the opposing team gave Surya a hug to celebrate his sizzling inning.

Virat Kohli and Yuzvendra Chahal too, posted on Instagram to congratulate their Indian team colleague. Both cricketers wrote, 'Tula Maanla Bhau' --- hats off to you brother

Virender Sehwag wrote, '53 no at the end of 17th over and 103 not out by the 20th. Incredible Suryakumar Yadav . Ghazab batting'

Suryakumar Yadav played some outrageous shots en route his maiden IPL hundred (103 not out) as his stunning knock outshone a superlative all-round show from Rashid Khan to set up Mumbai Indians' 27-run win over Gujarat Titans.
