The IPL 2024 auction is all set to take place on December 19, 2023. For the first time, the auction is being held in an international location, the Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai.

How many players are there in IPL 2024 Auction?

A total of 333 cricketers are set to go under the hammer for IPL season 17.

Of those, 214 are Indians and 119 are overseas players. The catch is that only 77 slots, including 30 for foreign cricketers, are up for grabs among the 10 teams.

A total of ₹262.96 crore is available to be used by the franchises to buy players of their choice.

While 2022 champions Gujarat Titans have the biggest purse of ₹38.15 crore, Lucknow Super Giants have the smallest of ₹13.15 crore.
