They released players like Harshal Patel and Wanindu Hasaranga ahead of the auction and went to the auction table with Rs 23.25 crore and 6 slots up for grabs.

They bought Alzarri Joseph to fill the spot vacated by Josh Hazelwood and also bought young Indian fast bowler Yash Dayal for Rs 5 crore.
