IPL 2023: LSG to wear Mohun Bagan's maroon and green in final league game

Krunal Pandya's Lucknow Super Giants is all set for their last league match in Kolkata, where their sister Indian Super League franchise Mohun Bagan is also based.

To pay their tribute to one of the oldest football clubs of India, LSG launched a special edition jersey which they will don on Saturday in their game against Kolkata Knight Riders.

The announcement was made on their social media with the caption, 'our tribute to Mohun Bagan and City of Joy'

Lucknow will don the Maroon and Green colours of Mohun Bagan to celebrate the club's legacy.

The RPSG group is a significant stakeholder in Mohun Bagan the famous football club. The historic club from Kolkata will also be rebranded as Mohun Bagan Supergiants from June 1st.

Lucknow Super Giants is sitting safely in the 3rd spot with 15 points. If they win, LSG will confirm their playoff spot.
