IPL 2022: GT Captain Hardik Pandya always showed faith in everyone, says Wriddhiman Saha

Gujarat Titans and India's wicketkeeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha has heaped praise on Gujarat's skipper Hardik Pandya, saying that Hardik showed faith in the players whom nobody believed in.

Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans won the IPL 2022 title in their debut year and they also finished on the top of the points table in the season.

In an interview with Bengali daily Anandabazar Patrika, Saha said that Pandya showed faith in the players who were released by different franchises and he wasn't getting a chance in the beginning but GT's captain gave him the responsibility as an opener which resulted in Saha's getting back his confidence.

The Siliguri-born cricketer who went unsold on day 1 of IPL mega auction 2022 had missed the first five matches in the IPL 2022 and scored 317 runs in just 11 matches for Gujarat Titans including 3 half centuries.

The 37-year old batter further added that Hardik knows his job to stay connected with everyone and he has changed a lot recently. He is now cool and always shows faith in everyone.
