After heartbreak in the previous game, KKR returned to winning ways on Sunday night as they beat SRH by 6 wickets and have the best shot at sealing the 4th playoffs spot in IPL 2021.

Hyderabad's decision to bat first backfired as KKR bowlers choked their batters from the very first over and restricted SRH to 115/8. It wasn't an easy run chase though as the wicket didn't support free stroke play. in form duo of Venkatesh Iyer and Rahul Tripathi fell cheaply but Shubman Gill kept KKR in the game with his 8th IPL fifty. He was dismissed straight after that and Nitish Rana too followed him back into the hut. But it was Dinesh Karthik's unbeaten 12-ball-18 that took KKR over the finish line and helped them go to 12 points.
