Asia Cup 2023 Schedule: India vs Pakistan on this date, check out full fixtures list

The much-awaited Asia Cup 2023 is all set to kick off on August 30, with the marquee clash between India and Pakistan scheduled for September 2 in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President, Jay Shah, unveiled the complete schedule, expressing his excitement for the Men's ODI Asia Cup 2023 through a social media post.

In addition to the high-profile India-Pakistan match, India will also face Nepal in another group stage encounter on September 4, at the same venue.

The tournament will feature two groups, with two teams from each group advancing to the Super Four stage. The top two teams from the Super Four stage will compete in the thrilling final.
If India & Pakistan both qualify for the Super 4 stage as expected, they will once again lock horns on September 10, this time Colombo.

Following the approval of the hybrid model, the ACC had announced that four matches will take place in Pakistan, while nine matches will be held in Sri Lanka. The Asia Cup will span from August 30 to September 17.

The hybrid model was proposed to accommodate BCCI's stance of not sending the Indian team to Pakistan due to the strained relations between the two countries. The proposal, put forward by Najam Sethi, the chairman of the dissolved cricket management committee of the PCB, received acceptance from all ACC members, including India.

With cricketing powerhouses like India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Nepal participating in the tournament, fans can expect an intense and action-packed competition during the Asia Cup 2023.
