India Vs England: Fast bowler James Anderson can't wait to play for fearless Three Lions

England cricketer James Anderson, who missed the last Test against New Zealand due to an ankle issue, is now fit and raring to go against Team India.

The veteran pacer said he was disappointed to miss the final game against the Kiwis. Anderson also said that he hates missing matches and after the game at Headingley, the feeling around the whole group is so good that he wants to be around as much as possible.

In England, Anderson has taken 99 wickets against India in 21 matches and has 15 wickets in 4 Tests in the ongoing series. Considering his impressive stats, the English bowler will once be a major hurdle for Team India in the rearranged Test.

Talking about the renewal of his rivalry with former Captain Virat Kohli, the veteran pacer said he's looking forward to his battle against the Indian superstar. He also called Kohli 'one of the best' batters in the world.

The 39-year-old Englishman is also excited by the new England and their fearless approach. He added how he's enjoying the positive cricket they've been playing under new coach Brendon McCullum and new captain Ben Stokes.

India are 2-1 up against the hosts in 5 match Test series. The final Test couldn't take place last year due to a Covid outbreak in the Indian camp and will now be played from July 1-5 in Birmingham.
