IND vs SA: Watch how a fan breached security to touch Rohit Sharma's feet

Cricket is no less than a religion in India and the cricketers its demigods. The amount of love fans have for the players is immense and the 1st T20 vs South Africa in Thiruvananthapuram was a perfect example.

During India's low-scoring encounter on Wednesday, a pitch invader crossed all limits to meet his idol, Rohit Sharma.

The fan sprinted past the ground stewards barefoot and managed to kneel down and touch the feet of the Indian skipper. He also snapped a selfie with his idol before being taken away by the security.

The incident happened as soon as the bowling innings of the Indian team ended.

Team India won a hard-fought game by 8 wickets with Suryakumar Yadav and KL Rahul scoring a half-century each.
