IND vs SA 3rd Test: Virat Kohli defends Rishabh Pant, Ajinkya Rahane & Cheteshwar Pujara

Captain Virat Kohli is back and he will lead the team against South Africa in the series decider in Cape Town. Kohli confirmed to the media that he is fit and raring to go while accepting that missing out on a game feels guilty but after all he is human and injuries do tend to happen when you keep playing non-stop.

While talking about Rishabh Pant who coped a lot of criticism over his shot selection in the 2nd Test vs South Africa, Kohli in a way defended the wicket-keeper and said that the team management and coaches have had a word with the young lad.

While almost confirming the Playing XI for the final Test of the series, Virat added that Mohammad Siraj isn't fully fit and will miss the match in Cape Town. While addressing the issue about Cheteshwar Pujara & Ajinkya Rahane's form, Kohli said that the transition for the team can't happen overnight. Kohli added that the way Pujara and Ajinkya batted in the last Test was priceless for the team.

The 3rd and final Test of the series starts on Tuesday in Cape Town as Team India have a bright chance to win their first ever Test series in the Rainbow Nation.
