IND vs NZL 1st Test: Wriddhiman Saha out with a stiff neck, KS Bharat to keep for India

BCCI announced on Day 3 of the Kanpur Test that Wriddhiman Saha won't take the field for India due to a stiff neck and KS Bharat will keep in his absence

When India took the field on Day 3 of the 1st Test in Kanpur vs New Zealand, there was no sign of Wriddhiman Saha. BCCI later announced that Saha was out due to a stiff neck and the medical team was treating him and monitoring his progress.

In his absence, KS Bharat was handed the wicket-keeping gloves. Saha had become India's second choice keeper ever since Rishabh Pant made a mark in the Test arena. The Bengal lad returned to the playing XI for the Kanpur Test but had a miserable outing with the bat and was out for just 1.
