IND vs NZ, 3rd T20I Preview: Hardik's men face tough Kiwi challenge in series-decider

The bowlers produced a brilliant performance in the 2nd T20I which restricted the visitors to just 99 runs, but it was the pitch in Lucknow that stole all the limelight.

IND vs NZ, 3rd T20I Preview: Hardik's men face tough Kiwi challenge in series-decider

With the India-New Zealand series tied at 1-1, the action now shifts to Ahmedabad where the pitch will certainly be a big talking point.

The first two T20Is in the series were both low-scoring affairs, with captain Hardik Pandya questioning the quality of the pitches. Pandya, in fact, had deemed the Lucknow pitch a 'shocker' of a wicket that led to the sacking of the curator at the Ekana Stadium.

But Ahmedabad usually produces good pitches and Hardik's men will be looking for yet another bilateral series win when the two sides faceoff on Wednesday.

In the 2nd T20I, Indian bowlers were magnificent. Aided by the conditions, they managed to restrict the visitors to just 99 runs. The Men in Blue will be hoping for another stellar display from the bowling pack.

India's top three batters though have struggled in the series so far. Ishan Kishan's inability to rotate strike has already been questioned and with Prithvi Shaw waiting in the wings, it remains to be seen whether India chooses to change their opening pair.
