He knows best. He plays spin so well. We have seen that over the last couple of years. That's why we held him back and give him that role for the last 15-20 overs where he can play his game, but it's really unfortunate he could only play 3 balls. That can happen to anyone. But the potential and ability are always there. He is just going through that phase right now."

Opting to bat first, the visitors were off to a good start before Hardik Pandya ran through their top order and reduced the Aussies to 138/5. However, a collective show with the bat helped the Kangaroos finish at 269.
Chasing which, openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill gave their side a good start but both fell in quick succession. Virat Kohli then dropped anchor and scored his 65th ODI fifty.
However, the game turned in just 2 deliveries when Ashton Agar first dismissed Virat for 54 and then cleaned up Suryakumar Yadav off the very next ball. An already bad series turned worse for Sky as it was his 3rd consecutive golden duck.
Shuffling the batting order didn't work out for India as the hosts were eventually bowled out for 248.

There are a few discussions going on," - That's what Indian vice-captain KL Rahul said when he was asked whether Shubman Gill will play in the middle-order in the first Test.
With less than 48 hours to go for the Nagpur match, India remain tight-lipped about their playing combination.
When asked whether the pitch that Steve Smith described as 'pretty dry' will see India go in with 3 spinners, Rahul said there will be a temptation to play 3 spinners but they'll have to wait for the first day of the match to see how the wicket looks and then decide on their XI.
The 30-year-old also said that he is "ready to bat in the middle-order if the team wants."

The young cricketer's form has seen him score centuries in all three formats this year, including an ODI double ton against New Zealand and a century against Australia in the drawn fourth Test at Ahmedabad.
Dhawan, a veteran of 167 ODI, who would still be eyeing a place in the India side for the ODI World Cup at home, said had he been the selector, he would pick Gill over himself based on current form.
"I feel the way Shubman is (playing). Like he was playing two formats and performing well in Tests and T20s. He was playing more matches in the international circuit and I wasn't... If I were the selector then definitely would have given the chance to Shubman. Would have selected Shubman over me," Dhawan told Aaj Tak.
