IND VS AUS: 'It's a good sign': Rohit Sharma heaps praise on Suryakumar, Virat Kohli after series win

Elated Indian skipper Rohit Sharma lauded Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav for helping India win the 3-match T20I series against Australia. While ex-skipper Virat Kohli played a crucial 63 off 48, Suryakumar's blistering 36-ball-69 powered India to a thrilling 6-wicket win in Hyderabad.

In the post-match conference, Sharma praised the 32-year-old for his exceptional innings. He lauded Kohli and SKY for 'taking the game away from the opponents'.

'It is always a good sign to see Surya bat, every game he plays he seems to be better and better, which is the biggest positive for the Team', Rohit said.

Rohit also spoke about the Indian batting order combination and went on to say that the management will take decisions depending on the demand. 'If we need a left-hander, we will go ahead with one'. He further highlighted that some players including Dinesh Karthik, need more game time before the T20 World Cup begins.

While the Men in Blue on Sunday registered their 21st T20I win in 2022, the Indian skipper highlighted that although the team is faring well in its batting department, they need to focus on a couple of things when it comes to bowling.
