ICC T20 World Cup 2022: Ashish Nehra picks his 15-member Indian squad

With India's selection committee expected to announce the Indian squad on September 16, fans and experts have been picking their own squads for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Gujarat Titans head coach Ashish Nehra is the latest expert to name his 15-member squad for the marquee event.

Nehra has opined that selectors will certainly pick KL Rahul as opener despite his place coming under scrutiny in recent times.

Nehra left pacers Deepak Chahar and Mohammed Shami out of his 15-member squad while picking off-spinner R Ashwin as the third spinner. His four preferred pacers are Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Harshal Patel and Jasprit Bumrah.

Like head coach Rahul Dravid, Nehra also believes that Ravindra Jadeja will get fit before the start of the tournament in Australia and picked him in his squad.
