ICC Rankings: Hardik Pandya closes in on top spot, Shubman Gill makes big jump

Shubman Gill, who has only played 6 T20Is, jumped 168 places and is now ranked joint 30th in the ICC rankings for T20I batters.

After his brilliant 4/16 in the final T20I against New Zealand, captain Hardik Pandya has made great strides in the ICC rankings for all-rounders.

With a career-high 250 rating points, Pandya leapfrogged Mohd Nabi to go second. He is only 2 points behind Shakib Al Hasan in top spot.

While Suryakumar Yadav continues to lead the batting charts, Shubman Gill jumped a whopping 168 places and is now ranked joint 30th.

Arshdeep Singh too sprang 8 places to become the 13th-ranked bowler in the latest bowlers' rankings.
