ICC and ECB have cleared off all the rumours regarding the 2024 Men's T20 World Cup venue and have confirmed that the tournament will be played in West Indies and the United States.

ICC: no plan to shift Men's T20 2024 World Cup from West Indies, U.S

The 2024 T20 Men's T20 World Cup which is scheduled to take place in the Caribbean islands and the United States won't be shifted to the United Kingdom, the International Cricket Council (ICC) and England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said on Saturday.

"There is absolutely no truth to reports that the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 will be moved from the West Indies and the USA," said an ECB spokesperson. "Since the event is organized by the ICC, their statement must be taken as binding and conclusive."

"Venue inspections have recently been concluded in both host territories, and planning for the event in June 2024 is in full swing," said the ICC spokesperson.

The ninth edition of the T20 World Cup will be the ICC's largest-ever event, featuring 20 teams and 55 matches in total.
