The 2 watches according to reports are worth more than Rs 5 crore and Hardik also failed to show a bill. Earlier last year, Hardik's elder brother Krunal was detained by Custom officials at the Mumbai airport for a few hours for not declaring expensive watches and gold which he was carrying.

As on Tuesday morning, Hardik Pandya is a statement contradicted the report and asserted that he voluntarily submitted all the documents to the Customs. In the statement he said that the value of the watch is Rs 1.5 crore and not Rs 5 crore as reported.

Pandya added that he is a law abiding citizen and he had voluntarily declared the value of his purchases to the Customs officials.

The two Pandya brothers owing to poor form are currently out of Team India contention, while Hardik has been dropped from the team for New Zealand series, Krunal last played for India in July this year.
