The chase was expertly anchored by captain Shubman Gill, who delivered a sublime, unbeaten 61, steering his team to victory in just 16.4 overs.

Reflecting on GT's impressive performance trajectory, ex-India captain Sourav Ganguly praised head coach Ashish Nehra on X (formerly Twitter) for his strategic acumen. GT's bowling, featuring stellar performances from left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore (2/24) and seamer Prasidh Krishna (2/25), effectively contained SRH on a challenging pitch.
