The England Cricket Board gives 'conditional approval' to Ashes 2021 to go ahead as per schedule. Cricketing boards of England and Australia will work closely to find a solution for the tough COVID19 isolation rules down under.

England board gives 'conditional approval' for Ashes

The clouds of uncertainty have settled after the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Friday gave a green signal for the English team's participation in the Ashes. However, ECB in its statement has said that it has given a 'conditional approval' for England's participation. ECB was reluctant in making its decision due to Australia's strict Covid-19 quarantine guidelines which the English players and their families will have to follow.

While Cricket Australia (CA) and the ECB have been trying to find the middle ground, the marquee series which is approaching is set to begin from December 8th in Brisbane. Currently, Australia holds the Ashes after retaining it in a dramatic 2-2 draw in England 2019.
