Initiating the bout with a sharp jab, the reigning Commonwealth Games and World Champion maintained dominance with a series of precise combination punches. Her dominance was so profound that the referee had to give the Jordanian boxer three standing counts before calling off the contest.
In other contests, Parveen, a World Championship bronze medallist, displayed exceptional skills, overpowering local favorite Zichun Xu 5-0 and advancing to the quarters.
On the other hand, Lakshya Chahar had an early exit, succumbing 1-4 to Kyrgyzstan's Omurbek Bekzhigit Uulu in the 80kg Round of 16 bout.
For the women's events, the semifinalists in the 50kg, 54kg, 57kg, and 60kg categories, as well as the finalists in the 66kg and 75kg, will secure berths for the Paris Olympics. Additionally, Olympic quotas will be awarded to the gold and silver medallists in each of the seven weight divisions in the men's event.

Williamson had to undergo a surgery after rupturing an anterior cruciate ligament during the IPL earlier this year.
Coach Gary Stead said the priority was ensuring Williamson had time to progress his return to match fitness.
"Right from the start we've taken a long-term view on Kane&rsquo;s return to play," said Stead.
"His recovery is tracking well and it&rsquo;s now a matter of making sure he can cope with the rigours and intensity of international cricket.
"We'll continue to take a day by day approach to Kane's rehabilitation and certainly won&rsquo;t be putting any pressure on him to return before he is ready." Tom Latham will captain the side in the first warm-up match against Pakistan.
Senior pacer Tim Southee, who is recovering from a surgery on his fractured thumb, will depart for India on Saturday. He is expected to be available for the World Cup opener against defending champions England.

Chess: Indian men and women opened their campaign in the chess team event at the Asian Games with easy wins over Mongolia and Philippines respectively.
Both the teams won by identical 3.5-0.5 margins in the first round.

India's Sajan Prakash and Advait Page finished fifth and seventh in their respective finals to draw curtains on the country's swimming campaign at the Asian Games

A dominant India defeated Malaysia 6-0 to register their second consecutive win in the women's hockey competition.
The Indians continued from where they left against Singapore in their campaign opener and pumped in four goals in the first quarter of the Pool A match.
Monika (7th minute) opened the scoring for India before vice-captain Deep Grace Ekka (8th), Navneet Kaur (11th), Vaishnavi Vitthal Phalke (15th), Sangita Kumari (24th) and Lalremsiami (50th) also found the back of the net.

India had a fantastic day 6 at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, adding 3 gold medals to climb to fourth in the medal tally. On September 30, day 7 of the multi-sport event, India will be hoping for much of the same from their athletes, with a number of medals events taking place in athletics, shooting, boxing, tennis, badminton, and weightlifting among other sports.
Shooting will once again take centrestage, with Sarabjot Singh and Divya TS aiming for glory in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event that will begin at 6:30 am IST. In addition, Stage 1 of the men's and women's trap qualification will also take place at the same time. India have won 18 medals in shooting so far, their best-ever haul in the sport at the Asian Games.
Weightlifting events will also begin on September 30, with Olympic silver medallist Mirabai Chanu making her Asian Games debut in the Women's 49kg category. All of India will be hoping for Mirabai to replicate her heroics from the Tokyo Games in Hangzhou. Along with Chanu, Bindyarani Devi will feature in the Women's 55kg category.

With their wins, Singh and Ghosal wrapped the match and Mahesh Mangaonkar was not required to play the third match of the tie. India who lost against Pakistan in the pool stage by a narrow margin, will now seek revenge when they meet their arch-rivals at 1:00 PM on Saturday.

Kiran Baliyan became the first Indian woman to win an #AsianGames2023 medal in shot put event in 72 years as she picked up a bronze on the opening day of competitions.

Baliyan thus became only the second Indian to win a medal in women's shot put in Asian Games after Barbara Webster, an Anglo-Indian from then Bombay, won a bronze in the inaugural edition in New Delhi in 1951.
Baliyan has a season's as well as personal best of 17.92m which she had produced while finishing second in the Indian Grand Prix 5 in Chandigarh on September 10.
"I did not know the history (first Indian woman shot putter to win an Asian Games medal after 1951). My focus was to produce my best performance. I could not do that and I am not happy with my performance. But I won a medal, so I am very happy," she said later.
The other Indian in the fray, Manpreet Kaur finished fifth with a best throw of 16.25m.
In women's 400m race, Himanshi Malik ran an excruciatingly slow race for the second time in less than three weeks as she finished fifth in her heat and failed to qualify for the finals.
The 21-year-old Malik clocked 57.82 seconds in heat number three, even worse than the 57.59 second effort at the Indian Grand Prix 5 in Chandigarh on September 10.
She ran the race at the 'Big Lotus' stadium here with a knee brace, giving credence to the murmur that she was injured and could be left out of the Asian Games team.
Her timing on the opening day of athletics competition was more than six minutes outside her season's as well as personal best of 51.76 seconds which she had clocked while finishing second in the National Inter-State Championships in June.
Interestingly, in a video uploaded by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) earlier in the day, Malik said she was ready for the race.
"I am running my 400m race in the Asian Games today and hopefully I will do well," she said in the video.
The other Indian in the fray, Aishwraya Mishra qualified for the final round after finishing second in heat number one with a season's best time of 52.73 seconds.
In the men's 400m race, Muhammed Ajmal qualified for the finals after finishing second in his heat with a time of 45.76 seconds while Muhammed Anas Yahiya failed to make the grade after clocking 46.29 for a third-place finish in his heat.
The first two in each heat and the next two fastest across the three heats advance to the final.
In the women's hammer throw final, Tanya Chaudhary and Rachna Kumari finished seventh and ninth with performances of 60.50m and 58.13m respectively.
In the morning, national record holder Priyanka Goswami finished fifth in women's 20km race walk event with a time of 1 hour 43 minute 7 seconds, well outside her season's best of 1:28:50 and personal best of 1:28:45.
In the men's 20km event, Vikash Singh, who was drafted in the team due to injury to national record holder Akshdeep Singh, also finished fifth, clocking 1:27:33. He has a season's as well as personal best of 1:20:05.
The other Indian in the fray, Sandeep Singh was disqualified during the race.
