After a week's break, India is set to face New Zealand in its 2nd Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup in Dubai on Sunday. Both teams coming from a loss in their World T20 opener will look to revive their campaign with a vital win. While India faced a shattering 10-wicket defeat against Pakistan, New Zealand too fell at the hands of the same team by 5 wickets.

Although Virat Kohli's men are ranked higher in the ICC T20I rankings, history heavily favours the Kiwis. India and New Zealand have played a total of 16 T20I matches out of which the latter has won 8, including the 2 T20 World Cup matches. The Men in Blue have suffered immensely against Kane Williamson's team when it comes to ICC tournaments. In all their last 5 ICC contest meetings, New Zealand has defeated India.

India will now look to hurt New Zealand's winning streak in the crucial encounter that will likely decide which team will first secure its place in Semis.
