Former cricketer Kapil Dev has defended Rohit Sharma amidst criticism following India’s 10-wicket loss in the Adelaide Test. Kapil urged patience, stating it’s unfair to judge Rohit’s captaincy based on one poor result in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

India started the series strongly, with Jasprit Bumrah leading the team to a 295-run win in Rohit’s absence in Perth. However, under Rohit’s leadership, India faltered in Adelaide, where his personal form was underwhelming.
