BCCI sets up 3-member committee to investigate threats & intimidation from senior journalist to Saha

To investigate a senior journalist's alleged threat to Wriddhiman Saha, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has created a three-member committee.

While Saha initially refused to name the journalist in a series of tweets on February 23, it seems he is now willing to expose the scribe's identity and given his consent for an investigation.

"The three-member committee comprises of BCCI Vice-President Mr Rajiv Shukla, BCCI Treasurer Mr Arun Singh Dhumal and BCCI Apex Council Member Mr Prabhtej Singh Bhatia. The committee will start the proceedings as early as next week," BCCI said in a statement.

The wicketkeeper batter has played 40 Test matches and scored 1353 runs, including three centuries and six fifties. Once regarded as the best wicketkeeper in spinning conditions, Saha has already been told by team management that he won't play for India again.
