Visa and passport issues have left Pakistan's senior cricket team in Australia without a doctor and the under-19 side in the UAE without a team manager.
Sohail Saleem, who was named as the official team doctor for the series in Australia and New Zealand, is yet to join the team.
&ldquo;The Pakistan Cricket Board is still trying to get a visa for Dr Saleem and as soon as it comes he will join the side in Australia in time for the first Test in Perth,&rdquo; a reliable source in the PCB said.
He said similarly former Test batsman, Shoaib Muhammad, who was named manager of the Pakistan junior side taking part in the Asia Cup in UAE, has also been unable to leave with the squad.
"Shoaib had some expired passport issues which the board is sorting out and hopefully he will also soon reach UAE to take charge,&rdquo; the source said.
Ironically even the off-spinner, Sajid Khan, who is set to replace Abrar Ahmed in the Pakistan squad in Australia has also had his departure delayed due to visa issues.
The source admitted before naming the officials in any touring squad, the board should make it certain they will leave with their teams on schedule.&nbsp;

South Africa will pose a steep challenge to the young Indian side in the T20I series, but captain Suryakumar Yadav said on Saturday that the thought of producing a stellar effort out of their "comfort zone" should work as a motivation for the players.
India will face the Proteas in the first T20I of the three-match series here on Sunday.
"When you go outside India, you're always out of your comfort zone and when you do really well out of your comfort zone, it makes a lot of noise and that really encourages the boys. So, really looking forward to the series," said Suryakumar during his pre-match press conference.
Suryakumar backed his fledgling squad to show character in the face of a daunting opposition.
"The guys whom I am watching right now in the T20s are very expressive, very fearless. I have that attitude. They aren't afraid of failure. Whatever happens if they do good or if they don't get runs on that given day, their attitude remains the same.
"I think that balance is really important and I have just told them just enjoy this format, just be yourself," said Suryakumar.
He gave the examples of Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma, who played a pivotal role in the home series win against Australia, to underscore his point about the young cricketers.
"Rinku and Jitesh so far have the opportunity to bat in the same slot (for India) as their state or IPL teams. I have told them to do what they have been doing for those teams. They did exactly that (against Australia), showing some character in some tough situations," he noted.
The bounce and pace on South African pitches will certainly test this group of young cricketers, and the captain said his wards are well-equipped to ace that scrutiny.
"I think the key to success in playing on such wickets will be to be yourself. We&rsquo;ve played on all fast tracks in India and everyone is really equipped for it.
"And regarding the strokes for the batsmen, they've already battered on these kinds of wickets and I'm sure they will enjoy playing in South Africa," he said.
India will have a mere six more T20Is ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024, but Suryakumar down played the minimal number factor.' "There are only limited T20s before the T20 WC. But then we play 14 league games in the IPL and players have already played a lot of games and they have a lot of experience under their belt.
"So, I don't think there'll be an issue when selecting the squad (for WC) because everyone knows their role really well," he explained.
Suryakumar has been elevated as India T20I captain after Hardik Pandya&rsquo;s injury, and the Mumbai cricketer said he has been enjoying the experience.
"From personal point of view, it (captaincy) is a big responsibility. I really enjoyed it in the last series (against Australia). I would love to do the same (winning) in the coming series in South Africa.
"From the larger perspective, I feel we'll see what comes ahead but for now let's focus on the series." The 33-year-old admitted that the one-day World Cup final defeat against Australia was a heartbreaking one but the series win against the same opposition, albeit, in a different format, was a morale booster for them.
"It was a little bit of disappointment (WC final defeat), which will be difficult to move on from. But as I always say the show must go on. But after that there was a nice T20 series against Australia. We really enjoyed it.
"It was a different format. It (the series win) was a big boost for the boys,&rdquo; he signed off.

The U.S. Soccer Federation and Mexico Football Federation submitted a joint bid on Friday to host the 2027 Women&rsquo;s World Cup projecting $3 billion in revenue, competing against a proposal from Brazil and a joint Germany-Netherlands-Belgium plan.
The anticipated revenue in North America would be a huge increase from this year's tournament in Australia and New Zealand, which FIFA said totaled more than $570 million. The U.S.-Mexico bid projects attendance at 4.5 million, and Brazil's bid estimated competition revenue at $99 million, a figure that did not include broadcast money. The European bid said it had &ldquo;a target revenue well above what the FIFA Women&rsquo;s World Cup has reached before." The US-Mexico bid book proposed U.S. sites from among the same 11 to be used in the 2026 men's World Cup, according to the document released by FIFA: Arlington, Texas; Atlanta; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Foxborough, Massachusetts; Houston; Inglewood, California; Kansas City, Missouri; Miami Gardens, Florida; Philadelphia; Santa Clara, California; and Seattle. The bid said other cities could be considered.
Mexico listed Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey &mdash; its three sites for the men's World Cup &mdash; and in addition for 2027 listed as possibilities Leon and Quer&eacute;taro.
The US-Mexico bid envisioned taking advantage of efficiencies from the 2026 men&rsquo;s tournament, which will be co-hosted by the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
&ldquo;The U.S. and Mexico are in a unique position to host a World Cup that will leverage the same venues, infrastructure, and protocols used for the Men&rsquo;s World Cup just a year prior,&rdquo; U.S. Soccer President Cindy Parlow Cone said in the statement.
"As a result, we believe the time is right to host a FIFA Women&rsquo;s World Cup that features a truly world-class experience for players and fans, alike. This will not only unlock the economic potential of women&rsquo;s soccer, it will send a message to young players around the world that there is no limit to what they can achieve.&rdquo; The European bid listed Brussels, Charleroi, Genk and Ghent in Belgium; Cologne, Dortmund, D&uuml;sseldorf and Gelsenkirchen in Germany; and Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Enschede, Heerenveen and Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
Germany&rsquo;s three largest cities were not included: Berlin, Hamburg and Munich.
The Europe bid suggested ticket prices of 20-70 euros ($21-75) for group stage matches, rising to 50-125 euros ($53-133) for the final, with discounts for children and early purchases. It estimated hospitality seat prices of $160-$640.
Brazil proposed stadiums in Belo Horizonte, Bras&iacute;lia, Cuiab&aacute;, Fortaleza, Manaus, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and S&atilde;o Paulo. They were among the 12 sites used for the 2014 men&rsquo;s World Cup, with Curitiba and Natal dropped.
The Brazil bid estimated ticket prices of $17-52 for group stage matches and $37-84 for the final, with total ticket revenue of $57.4 million. It projected hospitality revenue at $29.5 million.
The U.S.-Mexico bid did not list specific ticket prices.
The U.S. hosted the Women&rsquo;s World Cup in 1999 and 2003. The 1999 tournament, won by the United States, drew 1.2 million fans, an average of almost 38,000 for the 32 matches at eight stadiums across the nation.
The 2003 tournament, originally scheduled for China, was moved to the U.S. on four months&rsquo; notice because of the SARS virus and was played in six smaller venues. There were 15 doubleheaders and the tournament, won by Germany, drew about 680,000 for an average of just over 21,000.
FIFA set a Friday deadline to submit bids. South Africa also announced a bid in September, then withdrew it last month.
FIFA is to inspect proposed sites in February and the FIFA Congress is to vote on a host in May.

India's abysmal batting prompted skipper Harmanpreet Kaur to acknowledge the team's failure in "reading the ball well" during the second women's T20I in Mumbai on Saturday.
Sent in to bat, India were bowled out for mere 80 runs. This was their third lowest total in a women's T20I as India conceded the three-match series after losing back-to-back matches.
"We always want to play with a positive approach, but unfortunately some of us didn't read the ball well and they also bowled really well and didn't allow us to score freely," Harmanpreet said during the post-match presentation ceremony.
Indian batting looked clueless as they went with all-out approach, something that backfired in Amol Mazumdar's first assignment as coach.
Defending the paltry total, India had their moments when Deepti Sharma took two wickets in two balls to have them 73 for 6 but without any scoreboard pressure England cantered home with four wickets and 52 balls remaining.
Harmanpreet said they fell short by 30-40 runs.
"Another 30-40 runs could have made a huge difference. Proud of my team, we fought till the last run which is good to see."

But the ace Pooja Vastrakar came down heavily on the Bangla women as she picked 4 wickets restricting Nigar Sulatana's side to mere 51. Indian women's doubles pair of Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa on Sunday secured their second Super 100 title with a straight-game win over Chinese Taipei's Sung Shuo Yun and Yu Chien Hui at the Guwahati Masters.
The second-seeded Indian combination, which finished runners-up at the Syed Modi International Super 300 tournament last week in Lucknow, beat the world no. 81 combination 21-13, 21-19 in a 40-minute final.
This was the third title for the Indian pair, which had clinched the Abu Dhabi Masters Super 100 and Nantes International Challenge this year.
The Indian duo didn't face much resistance in the opening game as it led 6-2 and kept moving ahead, taking an 11-7 advantage at the interval. After resumption, Ashwini and Tanisha kept dominating the rallies to leave their opponents far behind.
The world no. 28 Indian pair again had a 4-1 lead which swelled to 12-6 in a jiffy but the Taiwanese combination led a fight-back with five straight points to make it 11-12.
Shuo and Chien drew parity at 16-16 and 19-19 but the Indians quelled the challenge, sealing the issue with the required two points.
Ashwini, 34, and 20-year-old Tanisha started playing together only in January this year and were part of India's Asian Games squad which competed in Hangzhou, China in September-October.
One of India's finest doubles exponents, Ashwini has enjoyed a lot of success with Jwala Gutta, winning the 2011 World Championships bronze and the gold and silver medals at the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games respectively.
Ashwini and Jwala had also participated in the 2012 and 2016 Olympics in London and Rio de Janeiro but couldn't cross the group stage on both occasions.
After the 2016 Games, the duo parted ways and Ashwini forged an alliance with N Sikki Reddy. The pair won the 2018 CWG bronze medal, while Ashwini was also instrumental in guiding India to a first-ever mixed team gold in Gold Coast.
Once Ashwini and Sikki parted ways last year, the former started partnering Tanisha, who was born in Dubai.
In fact, Tanisha represented Bahrain and won her first major BWF title at the 2016 Bahrain International Challenge. She moved to India in 2018 and started playing in the domestic circuit, representing Goa.
Three years later, Tanisha made it to the Indian team for the Uber Cup and Sudirman Cup.
Initially, she found success in mixed doubles with Ishaan Bhatnagar, rising to a career-high of world number 18 but an injury to her partner left her stranded as she decided to focus on women's doubles.
After struggling to find a long-term partner, Tanisha finally joined hands with Ashwini and the rest is history.

We have always looked up to Mithali ji. That is my first goal right now and I will see whatever later on,' Dinesh said.&nbsp;

Musheer had a forgettable outing as he was clobbered for 32 runs in four overs.
India will be playing its final group league match on Tuesday against Nepal and need to win it in order to qualify for the semi-final while Pakistan with two wins from two games would have to lose by a huge margin to Afghanistan in order to qualify.
It shouldn't be a problem for India colts as Nepal aren't the toughest team to beat, having already lost both their encounters.
