On the eve of the high-octane India-Pakistan clash, Indian captain Rohit Sharma spoke about the team trying different combinations with an eye on the upcoming T20 World Cup.

During the press conference, when asked about India 's best XI, the skipper said, ‘the team and the coaches have decided to try different combinations to find the best possible playing XI’ The 35-year-old pointed out that while some things will work out for the team, others might not, but keeping in mind the T20 World Cup, the team will continue to play around its combination.

Further, the India opener also praised Virat Kohli who is back after a month-long break. ‘Virat looked impressive in the nets, he is really working hard on his batting’ Rohit said.

Rohit Sharma also spoke about India’s squad at the Asia Cup and praised Dinesh Karthik. ‘Of late, Karthik has come out really well, we know his quality, he was brought back into the team because of his performance and so far he has not disappointed us,' he said.
