Asia Cup 2022: Shahid Afridi reveals why his daughter waved the Indian flag

Emotions run high when India face Pakistan in cricket and fans support their teams passionately. But in a strange incident, Shahid Afridi's daughter was seen waving the Indian flag during India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2022 Super 4 game.

The former Pakistan captain has now revealed the reason behind it. "My wife told me that there were barely 10% Pakistani fans in the stadium and the rest were Indian fans. Pakistani flags were not available there so my younger daughter was waving the Indian flag", Afridi said in his latest YouTube video.

He further added that he received a video of his younger daughter but was unsure whether to share it online or not.

Pakistan eventually beat India in that encounter and Rohit Sharma's men later exited the Asia Cup without making it to the final.
