At the halfway mark, the Blue Tigers were 48/2. Bangladesh then found themselves in the driver’s seat when Mohd Nabi perished in the 13th over, with the asking rate going past 10 soon after. But Najibullah Zadran played an absolute blinder as if he was batting on a completely different track, and along with Ibrahim Zadran, he took the Bangladeshi bowlers to the cleaners. He smashed 6 sixes and a four - his unbeaten 17-ball 43 coupled with Ibrahim’s 42* ensured Afghanistan got over the line with 9 balls to spare.
