With Australia needing 174 more runs with 7 wickets in hand to win the first Ashes Test, a thrilling finish is on the cards but rain might play spoilsport on the final day in Birmingham.

According to AccuWeather, it will be a rainy affair on the final day as there are 100% chances of showers in the morning.

It is expected to start raining at around 6 AM local time and is likely to go up till 12 PM. There is also a 27% chance of thunderstorms.

Fans will hope that the outfield doesn't soak much water and remains good enough to get at least 2 sessions of play on Day 5 as Australia push for a win.
