AB de Villiers announces retirement from all forms of cricket, leaves Virat Kohli heartbroken

South Africa's AB de Villiers left his fans emotional on Friday as he announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

Mr.360, as he is fondly referred to, took to Twitter to make the announcement. In a series of Tweets, he wrote "Ever since the back yard matches with my older brothers, I have played the game with pure enjoyment and unbridled enthusiasm. Now, at the age of 37, that flame no longer burns so brightly." de Villiers thanked all his coaches, fans in South Africa and India and was also grateful to RCB for the opportunities.

The news left his RCB teammate Virat Kohli heartbroken and he tweeted to say that their bond was beyond the game and will always be. ABD is the all-time 2nd highest run-scorer for RCB with 4,491 runs in 156 matches.
