CWG India's Day 4 schedule: IND vs ENG hockey, Badminton, Table Tennis, Weighlifting event on August 1

On Day 4 of Commonwealth Games 2022, all eyes will be on Indian weightlifters again given this sporting event has given India all three Golds, two Silver, and one bronze so far. Weightlifters Ajay Singh and Gurinder Kaur will be in action on August 1 in Men's 81kg and Women's 71kg categories respectively.

Meanwhile, the Indian men's hockey team will lock horns with hosts England at 8:30 PM IST after thrashing Ghana by 11 goals margin in their CWG 2022 opener on Sunday. Also, India will be hoping that the Badminton team in the Mixed team event and the Men's Table Tennis team win their semifinal fixtures in order to secure two medals in respective sporting events.

Moreover, Saurav Ghosal and Joshna Chinnapa will play their quarterfinal matches in men's singles and women's singles respectively.

After a disappointing preceding day for male Indian boxers, there will be high hopes from boxers Amit Panghal, Ashish Kumar and Mhd Hussamuddin on August 1 at Commonwealth Games 2022. In other sporting events, India will be competing in Lawn Bowls, Cycling, Swimming, and Judo.
