Having started the day in 8th position on the medal table, two gold medals won by two young weightlifters have given India a lift as well at the Commonwealth Games.

While Australia are way ahead of the chasing group, hosts England are currently second. New Zealand, South Africa & Canada follow, with India now sixth on the medal table.
