On the seventh day of the Commonwealth Games 2022, India got a historic Silver in Men's Long Jump event.

Meanwhile, as many as four boxers have assured India at least a Bronze as they entered the semifinals.

The Indian team now has a total of 19 medals and is at the seventh position in the medal tally.

Moreover, the number one position is occupied by Australia with 132 medals. While hosts England are at second with 118 medals followed by Canada and New Zealand. Scotland are at the fifth position.
