Atletico Madrid Secures Thiago Almada Transfer from Botafogo

Madrid, July 16 (AP) In a significant move, Atletico Madrid has reached an agreement to secure the services of Argentina international Thiago Almada from the Brazilian club Botafogo.

The Spanish club announced on Tuesday that the 24-year-old attacking midfielder, currently on loan to French club Lyon, will put pen to paper after successfully completing his medical examination with Atletico.

The details of the transfer fee and contract duration were not disclosed by Atletico.
