&lsquo;Pushpa: The Rule&rsquo; starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna is set to hit the theatres on December 5, 2024. The film directed by Sukumar is among one of the most anticipated films of this year. There has been a significant buzz around the film despite the release date being delayed earlier.&nbsp;
&lsquo;Pushpa: The Rule&rsquo; had hit a historic record with its pre-release business. The Allu Arjun starrer has reportedly secured Rs 825 crore through pre-release deals. According to Pinkvilla, the makers have sold the Andhra Pradesh rights of the film for Rs 110 crore, the North India rights are sold for Rs 150 crore, overseas rights for Rs 100 crore and non-theatrical rights for Rs 400 crore. &nbsp;
Besides, the makers have opted for a self-release in Nizam. "I've had the good fortune to work with Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan before collaborating with Yash. Despite Yash's immense popularity, he remains grounded, soft-spoken, and devoid of arrogance.
His rise from Mysore, with a bus conductor father, to superstardom is truly inspiring. Like everyone else, I was a fan of &lsquo;KGF&rsquo;. He has motivated me to think bigger about my career and aspirations," Oberoi expressed to PTI.

Actor Rana Daggubati on Monday appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) here in connection with a money laundering case involving illegal online betting and gambling by certain platforms.
The federal agency has issued summons to four actors--Prakash Raj, Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati and Lakshmi Manchu-- last month, asking them to appear on different dates at the agency's zonal office here for questioning in the case.
Raj and Deverakonda earlier appeared. The actors had "endorsed" online betting apps allegedly involved in generating "illicit" funds, according to official sources.
During their appearance, the agency is expected to record the statements of the actors under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
The ED had taken cognisance of as many as five state police FIRs to register its case against these actors and a number of other celebrities and social media influencers.
These individuals are suspected to have "endorsed" online betting apps for a celebrity or endorsement fee, ED sources said.
These platforms are alleged to have generated "illicit" funds through illegal betting and gambling, worth crores of rupees, they said.
Deverakonda, had recently said that he did an endorsement for a gaming app, adding that gaming apps are completely legal and recognised by the government, licensed as a business.

Various associations from the Kerala film industry staged a protest on Monday in front of the regional office of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), opposing the board's demand to rename the Suresh Gopi-starrer Janaki vs The State of Kerala.
Producers, directors, actors, and technicians came together for the day-long protest, alleging that the CBFC chairman's (Prasoon Joshi) directive to change the film's title to secure censorship clearance was a serious infringement on freedom of expression and amounted to unnecessary religious censorship.
B Unnikrishnan, director, producer, and General Secretary of the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA), told PTI Videos that while the decision to change a film's title rests with the producer, the protest was aimed at the larger issue of censorship and the violation of filmmakers' creative rights.
"They are raising objections based on the use of certain names and are refusing to issue censorship certificates. Cinema transcends religious or caste considerations, and we cannot allow this to continue," he added.
Unnikrishnan said that although the Malayalam film industry is not very large in terms of numbers, it "will not remain silent in the face of such attacks on creative freedom." CPI state secretary Binoy Viswam, who joined the protest in solidarity, said that Suresh Gopi&mdash;who is also a Minister of State in the Central Government&mdash;should reflect on how his government is "stifling freedom of expression".
Indrans, a National Award-winning actor, expressed his concern over the developments.
"I am scared. I do not know what awaits us when we bring out new films. It is frightening," he claimed.
Leading actors, directors, and producers from the Malayalam film fraternity participated in the day-long protest.
The Pravin Narayanan-directed film, also starring Anupama Parameswaran in the lead role, reportedly revolves around the legal battle of an assaulted woman named Janaki against the state.

The meeting is being organised on behalf of the FDC, Dil Raju had said, adding, that he would act as a bridge between the government and the film fraternity.
Some ruling Congress leaders have found fault with Allu Arjun's comments last week, describing the stampede incident as purely accidental and denying the allegations made by CM Revanth Reddy on the "roadshow" before the film screening.
Hours after Reddy slammed the actor for holding a roadshow and waving to the crowds at the theatre, without referring to anyone, the 'Pushpa' star refuted the allegations, saying it was not a procession or a roadshow.
Allu Arjun was arrested by the city police in connection with the death of the woman on December 13.
The Telangana High Court granted him a four-week interim bail on the same day and he was released from a prison here on December 14 morning.
