According to a report, Women and Men in India 2022 anaemia among women is rising drastically, with 50% of women between 15-49 years of age being anaemic in about 25 Indian states.&nbsp;
The report was released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, using the data from the National Family Health Survey (NFHS) which revealed an increase in cases of anaemia from 53% in 2015-16 to 57% in 2019-2021.
According to experts, major reasons behind anaemia are poor nutrition, low quality of groundwater, and other environmental factors related to poverty. According to the International Institute of Population Sciences (IIPS). Besides food habits, overall macro-environment should be taken into consideration which improves food diversity and reduces risk of viral infections, to control anaemia among women nationwide.&nbsp;

A recent study published in the Endocrine Society's Journal of Clinical Endocrinology &amp; Metabolism stated that women with obesity might pass on the disease's risk to their daughters but not to their sons.&nbsp;
The researchers measured body fat and muscle in 240 children (9 years old or younger) and their parents. They used data to determine the body mass index, the amount of body fat and muscle in the children and the parents.&nbsp;
It was found that girls had a similar BMI and fat mass as their mothers and inherit a high risk of developing obesity or being overweight from them. The research did not find the same thing between boys and their mothers.&nbsp;

Some US employees are gladly welcoming losing jobs, as per the data. 20% of Gen Z and 15% of millennials won't mind being fired. According to the study, zoomers and Gen Zs are open to being fired as that would give them more time to focus on their hobbies and look for better opportunities.&nbsp;
The survey was done on 3,000 workers by software firm Qualtrics which found that for Gen Z, career progression and promotion are not important because they do not want to grind. Instead, they prefer cleaning their house, sleeping well and exercising.&nbsp;
The study concluded that Gen Z are more socially conscious, and more committed towards diversity, equity and concerns of inclusion.&nbsp;
