According to a study done by the University of Tokyo, it was found that babies kick, wiggle and move right after birth because of the ability to control muscles, movement and coordination, which helps in the development of their sensorimotor system.&nbsp;
The research team recorded joint movements of 12 healthy newborns (less than ten days old) and ten younger infants (almost three months old) using motion capture technology. The analysis of the babies was done by technologies including infant-scale musculoskeletal computer models and computer algorithms, among others.&nbsp;
It was found that infants develop their own sensorimotor system based on explorational behaviour or curiosity.&nbsp;

For the study, researchers used a deep-learning &ldquo;ageing clock&rdquo; to test blood and biometric data of more than 11,914 adults and suggested that mental health has a major impact on biological ageing.&nbsp;

Greenery is not only soothing to the eyes but is also beneficial. And, now a new study suggests that even virtual exposure to greenery is good for pregnant women.&nbsp;
A research team from the University of California, US, conducted the study on 63 healthy pregnant women. During the research, pregnant women were shown three five-minute-long, 360-degree videos of urban environments: one showed a park-like setting, the second video had a street view with green space, and the third featured a street view without green space.
In that, they found that the virtual exposure to an environment filled with greenery &nbsp;was associated with lower systolic blood pressure, reduced salivary alpha-amylase (an indicator of stress), improved positive emotions and decreased negative emotions in comparison to the non-green space environment.
Besides this, the study also found that exposure to greenery reduces the risk of mortality, Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, Maharashtra recorded its third suspected H3N2 death. A 73-year-old man with comorbidities, who had also tested positive for the H3N2 virus, died in Pune on March 16. Earlier, a 74 year-old-man and 23-year-old MBBS students are suspected to have died due to H3N2 infection.
Meanwhile, in the national capital, a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority slated for 16 March was postponed to 18 March.&nbsp;
According to data shared by the Union health ministry, 451 cases of H3N2 have been reported in the country between January 2 and March 5.

He created a computer model that can rapidly and reliably predict the structure of ribonucleic acid, or RNA, molecules using easily accessible data. He believes it will make it easier to diagnose and treat certain diseases.
According to a statement, Neel&rsquo;s computational model contains a library of possible shapes for a given RNA molecule based on its atomic structure. A statistical method assigns weights to each structure in the library, favouring structures that closely resemble experimental data. By using 2D histograms for reweighting, his model eliminates the need to assign chemical shift data.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra reported two fatalities suspected to be caused by influenza. A 23-year-old MBBS student may have died due to a mixed infection of Covid, H1N1, and H3N2, while a 74-year-old man possibly died due to H3N2.
The Tamil Nadu government on 15 March said that no severe cases and ICU admissions have been reported in the state. A state minister said that 1,000 medical camps are being organised daily.

The problem of reading glasses getting fogged is universal and people wearing them have been dealing with it ever since.
But thanks to researchers at Switzerland&rsquo;s ETH Zurich university who are on the verge of ending this problem with the discovery of a transparent nano-coating that can prevent fogging of spectacles in humid weather.
This coating is made using gold harnesses sunlight to heat up the glasses that stops them from fogging. It does not need batteries to work and can also be used in car windshields.
However, researchers are still testing it and according to them this technology is different from the conventional anti-fogging methods as it uses hydrophilic or water-attracting molecules, that cause an even spread of condensation.
