      Chai biscuit is not just a snack but an emotion for many Indians and a staple food to start the day with. But according to Gut health Dietitian, Dr. Manpreet Kalra, this combo should not be eaten first thing in the morning as it may cause acidity, increase belly fat, hinder nutrition absorption and affect blood sugar levels.

      The maida in biscuit and sugar content in both are full of saturated fats and can cause various digestive problems. Dr. Kalra instead recommends healthier options for your morning dose in her latest Instagram post; take a look!

      Coriander water- Add 1 tsp of coriander seed powder to a glass of water.

      Aloe vera Juice- Add 15 ml of Aloe vera juice to a glass of water.

      Coconut water with cinnamon- Add a pinch of cinnamon to coconut water.

      Fennel water- Add 1 tsp of fennel seed powder to a glass of water.
