Do you face frequent headaches due to the heat? Keep these home remedies handy to get instant relief

The rise in temperature and the scorching sun across India are causing various health problems including acute headaches. According to experts, this can be caused due to various factors like lack of sleep, unnecessary stress, dehydration etc. But it is possible to cure headaches even without medicine. Here are some home remedies you may try:

1. Drink an adequate amount of water and stay hydrated. If headache increases, the amount of water intake should be increased.

2. Avoid looking at electronic devices and screens of laptops or phones if headache persists and splash water into your eyes.

3. Resting for some time with eyes closed in a dark room can be more effective.

4. The smell of strong perfumes, incense, room fresheners can also trigger headaches. Avoid using any of such things that might trigger your headache.

5. Avoid caffeine, it can worsen headaches. Try to have sugar-free and healthy drinks like butter milk.

However, if nothing works, it is better to see a health expert to get relief from headaches.
