You might have never thought breakfast could be this quick and tasty. Recently, Sonam Kapoor's seyal bread recipe has been making rounds on the internet. Seyal bread also known as bread poha is generally made with 2-3 days stale bread.

An Instagram and content creator shared this recipe and now everyone is trying it. You too can try this yummy brekkie. Here's all you need to know!

Ingredients for making 'seyal bread'

  • 4-5 bread slices
  • 1 big tomato
  • 1 onion
  • chillies as per your taste
  • seasonal vegetables (as per your choice)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • seasonings as per your choice

Recipe for 'seyal bread'

1. To make this easy breakfast, cut the bread slices into small pieces and keep them aside

2. Then, take a pan and put oil in it and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, chopped onion, chopped tomato, and fry them for 2 minutes.

3. Add add your favourite seasonal veggies if you want

4. Saute them well for a while and add salt, black pepper

5. Now, add some water and spices according to your preference.

6. Once, your masala is cooked properly and the vegetables have become soft, add bread pieces and stir well.

7. Once your bread pieces mix well garnish it with corriander leaves if you want and serve hot

8. Your easy-peasy breakfast is ready to eat!

Some more easy and healthy breakfast ideas for busy mornings

Yogurt with berries - Mix some berries and fruits with fresh yogurt and have it in the morning. This will not only keep your body cool but also give you all the energy required for the whole day.

Vegetable dalia - Put chopped vegetables and saute them in a tea spoon of oil. Add salt and mix well. Add water till the masala is covered. Add 2 table spoons of roasted dalia and cover with a lid. Remove it after 5-7 minutes. Mix the dalia well and serve.

Dahi poha - To make dahi poha, soak the flattened rice (poha/chidwa) in water for a short time, then mix it with yogurt, and add curry leaves, mustard seeds and seasonings according to taste. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and bhujiya or sev.
